Now is the

time to become

a Friend!

Our Friends at a Knox Church Concert

Will you be our Friend?

As many of you will know, after the Covid period, when so much changed, we suspended our Subscriber programme and launched our “Friends of the Choir” programme instead. The rules and benefits were based on the old Subscriber programmes principle of offering some free tickets for “Friends of the Choir” to three of the main concerts of the choir.

We now find that due to many reasons, we now have during the year fewer main concerts but instead are involved in more smaller events. Due to this, many of the current “Friends of the Choir”, have not been able to get real benefit from that programme. The programme was also quite hard to administer.

We therefore reluctantly will cancel the issuing of free tickets. We do however feel there is a need to offers our supporter the means of being kept informed and helps them actively to support the choir by attending the various functions the choir sings at. We therefore keep the Friends programme going but free tickets will not anymore be part of it. We will however keep you informed about the choir’s activities with emails and on this website.

Funding the choir’s activities is becoming more and more difficult and we are having to rely more and more on donations. If you are prepared to make a donation to the choir, the choir’s bank account number is listed below. The choir is very grateful for any donation made. Donations are Tax deductible.

By becoming a Friend of the RSA Choir you are:

  • Showing your support for live music in Dunedin

  • Helping the choir sing in front of a live audience

  • Being kept up with the choir’s activities.
