The 1943 Choir Picture

We are a Male Choir that was started by a returned soldier, Jimmy McNish at the end of 1919. For many years now the choir has numbered around 60, and has played an important and valued role in Dunedin City's cultural activities and the commemorative celebrations of significant historical events.

We sing a wide range of songs from light classical, to 'Welsh Male Voice Choir' arrangements, hymns, musicals, traditional 'nonsense songs' and anything that we like.

News & Upcoming Events:

The choir had an excellent concert with Jonathan Lemalu having been the star of the show! Now the choir is on holiday until the end of January. Even having no practices, the choir still will attend the HMS Neptune Memorial Service and sing for the Montecillo Rest Home Christmas Carols.

Refer to Summary information below for all upcoming functions. For detailed information on each of the bigger events when available, click below to go to Events page.
